I guess you could call these guys my heros. Even girls watched them and dreamed of riding horses and helping keep people safe from the bad guys. I loved the music too. Tex Ritter was a favorite. I guess Roy Rogers was who I watched the most and of course he was Roy Rogers off the screen as well as on. He set an example that lasted a life time.... truth and honor, justice,faith.and freedom. He and Dale Evens left a lasting mark on me. I still have that same code of honor and the same heros. In all these years I have never found anyone better or even as good to replace them.
